After reading this entire thread I still have a few questions. Will I rub with a 2.25 ready lift up front, air bags on the back, 4x4 block in back, 285/65/20 ko2s and stock platinum wheels. I want to go 1-1.5" spacers. Probably FG, why not get the best...

Finally got around to getting my 1.5" FG spacers installed. No rubbing with 275/70/18s.

Nice Rig! Do you have any more pictures? What rear end do you have in your truck? Did you notice any power loss running that size tires? How are the tires holding up for you?

Thanks!

Default Would Spacers Work with my Stock KR 20 Wheels and 275/55/20?

I'm looking to get a slightly more aggressive stance but I'm not ready to upgrade my wheels and tires just yet. Got this truck about 3 weeks ago. What size wheel spacers should I get to make my stock KR wheels and 275/55/20 tires stick out from under the truck just a tiny bit? Would this be the way to go or should I just bite the bullet and get different wheels and tires?

with the 1.5" spacers do you find the rear sits out a bit more than the fronts? curious if a 1.5 on the front and 1.25 on the rear would be more even as some have suggested in other threads.

can I bump this old thread up? I am thinking about doing the same thing. I want my OEM 20 inch wheels flush or poking out less then an inch. I'm hoping it is the +18 or +20 equivalent in an aftermarket wheel. Am I looking at a 1.5 inch adaptor?

thx

I've used wheel adapters on 5 or 6 different vehicles now and have yet to ever have a failure. The key is buy QUALITY adapters, and install them properly. The bad rep they have has definitely been earned by cheap workmanship and/or poor installation/maintenance.

The only "problem" I've run into is that my local Discount Tire refuses to work on vehicles with adapters installed. They claim it's company policy, but I'd be curious if others have run into this before? It sucks to not be able to take advantage of the lifetime rotation/balance that comes from them with tire/wheel purchases.
