Default Wheel spacer help needed

On my 16 lariat I am running 285/65/20 bfg K02 on the Lariat Sport wheels and I want to bring the tires just to the edge of the wheel well . Would a 1" wheel spacer accomplish this or a 1.25 ? Have seen some rides with 275's and they are right at the lip with a 1.25 so my thinking is a 1.0 with 285's would be just right ?

I am running 1.5" wheel spacers and they work great. If I were you I'd remove a wheel and measure the length of your wheel stud. You'll need to at minimum have a larger spacer than the length of the wheel stud to prevent needing to cut your wheel studs down. 1.25" may work without needing to cut wheel studs but you'll have to verify your factory stud length.

Cutting the studs will also depend on the wheel you have. Some have the 'pocket' between the lug holes that allow the stud to fit in.
One thing you could do is buy a bunch of washers and stack them then put the wheel on. Obviously DO NOT DRIVE THIS WAY. Spending a couple dollars on washers is way cheaper than buying the spacers and them being the wrong thickness.

The stock 20's work with 1.25" and flush perfect. If you go 1" you will have to trim the studs.

The 20" Platinum and Sport wheels are the only wheels that will allow the 1" spacers.
