Default would be better...

If you could break one knee cap on each of them so they couldn't run away if they did it again. We all know their sentence will be a slap on the wrist anyhow.

I had a bear break into my truck a few days ago and he/she didn't even scratch the paint getting in! The kids left a bag of shelled peanuts in the door. They did leave a mess of shells behind, but a far nicer experience than having a fellow human break in.

Sorry this happened OP. A few years ago my mom's car was stolen out of the driveway by a couple of gang bangers. Police recovered it a couple days later and found a hoodie, crack pipe and some empty 40s. The car wasn't too beat up but she traded it in a couple days later for a new one. Best of luck man.

I see a new f150 in your future which is exciting!

The thing about scum is they're the ones that spend their lives that way and that is punishment in and of itself.

Glad you and your family are okay.

You should just get the 2017 with the gen2 & updated long block & injection system...
I hate that for you ..

My son & I sold a 2013 LPE ZL1 & when we moved I put the cash in the safe spot & being a disabled vet I need a helper so the state assign a home Health aide ,well she went digging around in my home & stolen all of the funds 50k just recently ,and being on disability my daughter lost out on going to the University she was excepted to ,plus we had planned on donating part of the funds to start getting dogs from a local Shelter & train them as service dogs for other disabled vets ,plus I needed to fininsh training my new service dog,the aVa pays zero towards dogs training etc...
so she has ruined multiple lives ,problem is the state had sent in a bunch of different women over 6 months & of course they lie & won't admit it,so we are screwed..
so I feel your pain I hate thieves.

My garage openers are built into the vehicles. At least my wife's is. It's a small programmable set of buttons made just for that. (Jeep Grand Cherokee). I've never even thought about someone using my own garage door opener to enter my house. They still have two locked doors to get through before getting inside where we sleep, and a hail of gunfire to pass through, but still,........ it makes you think.

As previously mentioned, most new and/or newer garage door openers have a lock option at the controller on the wall in the garage. So every night before going to bed, just lock it and it will render useless any remotes and also the keypad on the outside of the garage. In our case, as soon as my wife comes home from work every day around 6, and here Explorer is in the garage, we lock it at that time so we won't forget to do it later.

I do have a new 2017 F150. Bought it 11 days after this happened. The trucks are almost identical, except for color. Same packages down to the navigation and max towing.

I have added my touches a little different this time. Went with the Bullet spray-in bed liner, Weathertech mats and a Mag-Hytech rear differential cover. Bilstein 5100 shocks instead of Fox 2.0's. All in all, very happy with the results.

How do the 5100's compare to Fox for every day driving? I have the 5100's and like them very much.
