What would you miss?
If you traded your Ford for another truck - what would you miss most?
Trying to figure out if I'm sticking with Ford even with the door lock issues and other things...or switching to another brand.
Off the top of my head, I'd miss...
1 - Door Keypad
2 - Remote Access App / Sync Connect (Shock sensor also)
3 - Tailgate Step
Looking at Ram - so I'll still have the big moonroof and gain push button start.

push button start, twin panel moonroof, tailgate step.
toyota, gm and ram all have the same thing as sync connect/remote access.

I'd miss the peace of mind thing. Truthfully, I remotely considered GMC, but I know in my mind I'd be picking everything apart in anything but a Ford. Plus, with my family, I'd likely be disowned.
At one time, in my dragracing days, Dodge was the only thing. But that was many many years ago. And after having a couple late '70's Powerwagons, bought new, my faith was dashed.

Assuming i traded my F150 in for a RAM;
wouldn't miss the key pad, never use it,
wouldn't miss any kind remote access or sync connect apps whatever those are, never use any of that kind of stuff.
About the only things i would miss:
center console shifter
tail gate step
As an aside;
moon roofs, don't want or need one, waste of money, IMO a potential leaking time b0mb and a royal PITA if it breaks,
push button start, could take it or leave it, don't really need it.
Yeah i'm your basic meat 'n potato kind of guy!

Keypad, tailgate step, huge supercab and rust free body.
But I would miss peace of mind the most I think.
My first 4 vehicles were all GM and loved them.
But since 95 I have owned 3 GMs and 4 well now 5 Fords with my first f150. All the Ford's have been great. The GMs not so much the biggest disappointment being a brand new 06 silverado and GM dealer service that was basically non existent.

I would miss the aluminum body, if you are okay with rust, get the other brand.
