Most likely because they still have to plan for that one idiot who would stand in the rain and try to plug in his toaster.

cylinder deactivation on the 5.0? nah.

won't ever happen on the ecoboosts without having to run the turbos under boost for the load, either.

Auto stop/start is on more vehicles than you would believe, including luxury vehicles. Keep it, just get used to it with the times, as they are a' changin'!

Cylinder deactivation on a 2.7/3.5 liter would be pointless. Can you even cut cylinders off with a turbo??

I'd also ditch the auto start/stop.

I'd love to see an option for manual hub locks. And a floor-mounted manual trans case shifter. More or less bare-bones 4x4 options for somebody to build a nice off road vehicle without having to jump to a raptor. Be nice to have disconnecting sway bar links for the FX4 package.

Integrated bed storage, which I think would add some strength to the aluminum (obviously at a cost to payload though).

No reason to ditch the auto start, because some people actually like it. Best approach would be to have it remember the last setting when starting up the truck again, or be able to disable it in the truck's settings.

I would love to have an option for manual locking hubs and manual t-case shifter also. You would know what you have and all those IWE issues would be a thing of the past.

Fix the dang wind noise from the driver side door without the consumer having to do 12 different "fixes" that may or may not work. That's my only complaint with my truck. I'm going to try the rubber tubing on the upper corner of my door first. Then I'll adjust the door itself if that doesn't work.
