What vehicle are you getting out of to get your new 2015 F150?
I cannot get over the difference in my old truck and the new one (scheduled to delivered 4/5).
OLD: 1999 F150 XLT 4x4 SCAB with 4.6. 287k very trouble free miles and counting. Awesome truck, has been with me for a long time and I've pushed it far beyond its intended use on occasion it has performed admirably.
NEW: Platinum 701a, moonroof, FX4, Max tow, Ecoboost.
I drove a platinum the other day that will be similar to mine and it is like getting out of the wright flyer and getting into the space shuttle.
I am trading both my 2000 F150 XLT SCab 5.4 v8 with 119k miles and my 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 rSpec with 13k miles in for a 2015 F150 XL SCab sport 101a, 3.5 eco, max tow, extended range fuel tank, rear sliding window, and backup camera with an ETA around 4/13.
I traded in my 2010 Jeep Patriot. It had an issue pop up where it needed a replacement PCT or something computer and they wanted almost two grand to fix it. Dealership gave me 9k in trade in value, and towed it from my house for me. It actually was pretty well optioned, it had the freedom II off road group, an upgraded sound system with a fold out speaker in the tail gate for tail gate parties or camping, heated seats and a touch screen radio capable of playing movies.
It wasn't a bad little vehicle at all and actually handled off road really well. Just really wanted a truck after becoming a homeowner and realizing that having the ability to haul and pick stuff up on my own is sort of a necessity.
New truck is an XLT with the 302A package, 3.5L EB, FX4 and tow package. Interior is similarly featured, but the cargo capacity and interior is immensely larger.
