Old truck - 2005 Nissan Frontier King Cab 4x4

New truck - 2017 F-150 SCAB 4x4

Needed more room for the kids and the Frontier was just starting to rust.

old truck 2017 Tacoma offroad.

new truck 2017 xlt scab

Tacoma was a buy back for trans issues. This ford knocks the socks off the Tacoma. Well see how she compares when the pavement ends.

2013 VW Jetta diesel. Loved my TDI but the deal I got for the buyback as part of the emissions settlement was too hard to pass up. And that extra cheddar is what got me into my brand new Lariat.

09 G8 GT. Bolt ons and tuned. I will miss it, but I needed a truck and don't drive enough to justify multiple vehicles at a time anymore.

2016 Tacoma TRD Sport. I liked a lot of this about this truck, but the drivetrain was a POS. It has "Smart" Learning transmission which makes it pretty much undrivable. What was BS is that when its new or after Toyota re-flashes the ECU TCU it resets the self learning and drives like a normal truck. Its lacks low end tq but it gets going when you rev it out so it wasn't bad. So when you take it on a test drive its fresh. But after a 100 or so km it self learns and falls on its face. It would shift into 6th at 60km/h then choke out while your still trying to accelerate then have to drop 2 gears to pick up again. And it was random, it had like 10 shifting maps. There is a company that is tuning it in Cali just so it drives normal, not for hp, just normal shifting. Toyota F'd up on their bread and butter, I will never look at another Toyota product. End Rant.

Traded in an 06 Envoy for my 2018 Supercrew 3.5 eb with the max tow and 6.5 bed. Love it! The Envoy was fully loaded and I liked it a lot. It only had 86k on the odo, so it still has plenty of life left in it. It was at its capacity, though, with our 17' camper, and we're looking for something bigger. I'm sure the 150 is up to the task?
