I just learned about "IDS" and that it can disable the fake motor music. My Volvo has a "Vadis" interface where the tech can control heated seat upper temp, dimmed mirror darkness, climate control calibration, daytime running lights, and other set/forget user preferences.

So, what magic adjustments can "IDS" do?

A Service manager/fishing buddy of mine is looking into if they can or will disable the dreaded double horn honk when keys are left in your pocket and you get out of the truck and close the door with the engine running and disable the speed limiter via IDS. Waiting to hear back from him. Any techs here? Can it be done?

I'd like to know if IDS can disable the tailgate release feature. I want the tailgate to lock/unlock with the doors. But I do NOT want my tailgate to release if I'm not back there.

I keep a bike rack on the hitch 24/7/365 and don't want to accidentally deploy the tailgate.

Would love to know if someone has Ford tech connections and find a list of what IDS can control.
