I’m interested in buying the Gap Shield for the bottom and a more traditional seal for the sides.

Better deal than the Ford kit - I think it's C$65 at the dealer..

I did this right from the start because I could tell it wasn't going to adequately close the corner gap. I am not that concerned about taking mine any further than I have. I suspect if someone spent some time looking at weatherstripping, both automotive and residential, they could come up with a solution that would keep almost all of the water or snow out. Dust is a lost cause....

The only way you would keep dust out is create positive pressure in the cavity. Doable I suppose, if you want to keep dust out that bad.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Looks good, looked up one of your Canadian dealers - which one of these products is yours?

I used 3/8" x 3/4" sponge tape to seal the tailgate. It did seal the sides fairly well but not the bottom. The gap reduction did help slow the dust intrusion though.

Works great - seals all way up to top of box on each side of the tailgate including the bottom.
