What is this? Shift at stop? Stumble? 2.7 question.

In boost we trust
A forum search led me here so I won't start a new thread.
I live in Austin TX, aka "the face of the sun". Summer temps over 100* very often, so who knows how hot it is in the truck when it's parked. 150*+ I'm sure. Deadly.
I take my dog with me a lot. Also a lot, I leave him in the truck for extended periods of time. Never a problem, and it stays a nice cool 70* in there. I have a 2015.5 Denali now and that is not a problem.
Is there a way to ascertain that the start/stop technology will not turn my new 2.7 EB off when I leave it parked?

Back to the topic, I noticed this stumble too when it doesn't go through the start/stop procedure. I thought the computer changed it's mind at the last second because one of the perimeters changed.

Trany shifts to 1st right after stop it may be drive shaft on screw trucks while the trans may actually move while you are standing on the brake holding the truck at line? 1st gear has a lot of torque ! Put a camera on it and post the video.

I have a similar issue in my 15 5.0. Come to a complete stop, feels like a shudder from the rear end, almost as if a downshift or something like that occurs. It's intermittent, and happens at random times.

It's not a huge issue, I don't think the trans is gonna blow up or that it's gonna cause me to rear end someone, but it makes the truck feel a little less refined.

I left my Lariat 2.7 (push button start) running for about 20 mins with my mother and daughter in the truck. When I came back to them, the truck was not running. I ask my mother if she turn off the motor and she said that a message on the information display said it was going to turn off in 30 seconds, to cancel press the start button. Be careful if your leaving you dog in there for long periods of time with the a/c running and it turns itself off with your furry friend unable to get out.

Just jump out hit the bottom two buttons on the out side code to lock the truck. When you come back type in your password and your in.

No it will not turn off in park. In the manual there are 17 things that have to happen to have auto stop on, two items are vehicle in drive foot on brake. Unless your dog jump in the drivers seat drops it in drive with his paw on the brake.

I'm not sure if its started with a key there are may reasons that you might leave your vehicle running with no drive for extended times. If it just shut off people would be pissed. Maybe you have a child in the car or you live in extreme cold like Alaska and need to have it running for extended periods of time. If it did this I'm sure I would have stumbled across it previously. Hey but you never know.
