I was looking for a great "do it all" tire, including good traction yet low road noise, and this one gets as close as I have seen for my driving style.
The Adventures are great tires. I'm running these now on my 2011 and plan to get the same on the 2015. Great traction in all conditions (dry, wet, snow) and very quiet!

Default Hankook tires on 2015 Platinum

I just picked up my 2015 Platinum, fully loaded except FX package, from Courtesy Ford in Portland, OR. Beautiful truck, but I was hoping for Wrangler tires. This truck, WITHOUT the FX package came stock with Hankook Dynapro ATM's. Since mine is for 90% pavement, I was hoping for the Goodyear Wrangler w/ Kevlar.

Default Hankook AT-M's rated #1 by consumer reports...

OK, I just did a little more research and found this regarding the Hankook AT-M's on the Platinums: http://cdnmedia.endeavorsuite.com/im...ts_nov2014.pdf

Looks like these AT tires are rated #1 by Consumer Report in Nov. of 2014, over the Michelins and the Goodyear. I had read they were noisy and did not wear well, but comparatively speaking, this may not be the case when comparing Apples to Apples for this category.

BTW, here is a great post filled with good info of recent: https://www.f150forum.com/f2/tire-ra...eports-274900/

As I ordered an XLT/Sport 4x4 which will probably come with the GY Fortitude, 275/65R18 tires from what I read here, so the tire gets my interest. After reading this thread I went to google for reviews and found very little info.. Tire Rack has them listed as a "new tire" thats being fitted to new model PU's for A/S use. There are no reviews posted there. Truck tires don't get the " guvmnt ratings" as do passenger tires, so I'm interested in how they handle,wet/cold traction, quiet-or not, treadwear,etc..
They are a twin steel belted tire w/polyester cord carcass w/symmetrical tread pattern.

You say they are junk based on what? Opinion of having used them/Opinion of brand-mfg./opinion of size?
Feel free to explain why they are junk tires?
