Default What next-gen F150 model do you plan to get next?

I'm already getting thoughts in my head to get a '15 or '16 F150 but I'm really not sure which model I will get this go around. I know it will be a Screw and I'm thinking I will go with a 5.0 this time because I want that v8 sound and I don't tow much.

4x4...I don't know. I don't really use it either but I like know I have it for when the time comes I will need it.

Since the FX4 is going to be a package this time I'm not sure which model I will be wanting. Off the top of my head, Lariat but if the price is right if love to get a Platty, but I'm afraid the price of a new Platty with FX4 in Screw will be $60-$70k and I can't bring myself to pay that.

Summary:
'15/'16 Screw
FX4 Pkg
5.0 V8
Lariat

I would love to see the new raptor or platinum. I think that would be a cool truck to have.
In reality would most likely be a lariat fx4 5.0 4x4 with 3.73 gears fully loaded.
I would like to wait till they get rid of sync first aswell

My next truck will be 4X4 for sure. Never again will I buy a 2WD. I have owned 2 BIG lifted 4X4s in the past and NEVER used it. Which is why I spend the cost of 4X4 on the upgraded interior of my FX2. I love my truck, it does 99.9% of everything I want of it. But now that I hunt and fish ALOT more I want the 4X4 for not when I need it but if I need it. It can be a life saver for sure.

My next truck will be many moons from now. Hopefully there will be a diesel in the 150 by then. But if I had to get a 15, it would be a FX4 6.2L if available if not a 5.0L with 3.73s.

I'd love a Lariat with the FX4 'Sport' package. I love the idea of the ecoboost, but would miss that V8 sound too much, so it'd probably be a 5.0 with 3.73 gears. Supercrew or Supercab? probably stick with the Super.. I don't need all that extra weight to tow my buddies around on a weekend or two..

That all being said, I fear the 2015's are going to come with a Maserati price tag judging from the current model's window stickers. So if they're anywhere near where I think they're going to be, I may jump on the Super Duty ship..

wow i hope they don't price the new f150 platinum at $60-70k. I wouldn't pay that much for a half ton pick up. that's nuts. If a platinum can be had for the mid 50s maybe high 50s, i'm in.

So in the model year 2015, the FX4 is no longer a "Model" but a "Package"?

I am curious how this is known because I have not yet been able to find any ordering information anywhere.

Interesting.
