When it goes on sale late this year, the all-new Ford F-150 will continue the tradition of offering the broadest selection of trim levels in the full-size pickup segment. Five primary trims are available: XL, XLT, Lariat, Platinum and King Ranch. Chrome appearance packages are available with XL, XLT, Lariat and King Ranch. Monochromatic sport appearance packages are available with XL, XLT and Lariat.
The FX4 off-road package can be added to most four-wheel-drive models, improving trail capability with an electronic locking rear axle, skid plates and off-road-tuned shocks.

I'll wait for a 2016 Harley or another Limited.

I think the old '04 will do for a while longer. Still looks almost new.
Just turned 70,000 miles. No problems, no payments and it tows the boat just fine.

Good lookin' rig, Joe. Thanks to moderate weather, neutral pH rain, no road salt, regular Meguiar's Gold Class washings, and TLC interior detailing, I just sold my 2004 XLT Screw with 63K trouble-free miles for $15,000 (my 2015 F-150 down payment).
I'm torn on which engine to purchase. I don't tow and I'm intrigued with the 2.7 and its novel design, but I'm apprehensive about taking on so many new product innovations in a single vehicle, e.g. 1st year aluminum, 1st year engine...and I still harbor memories of a flaming blown turbo (it took out a wing panel) on a Wright R3350 engine while 1,200 miles out to sea.

I have a Lariat now, whenever I get a new model (probably not til '16), I want an interior with no wood trim. It's nice, but I like the more sporty look of the FX4. If that's no longer a trim package, I'm guessing load up a XLT and get the FX4 off-road package? I hope this doesn't mean that all top of the line trucks will be wood/King Ranch'd out whether we want it not.
