After about three weeks of waiting for all the parts I finally got my center console installed. Steve at tasca was fantastic at helping.

 

I added factory BLIS to my XLT

 

Do u have the part number for the BLIS, Did u do the install or a dealership?

 

I did it myself, You have to replace two harnesses - the longest of the two is vehicle specific. You also need to have mirrors that are BLIS enabled & LED taillights with BLIS. Finally you need to make several changes with FORScan to get the system operational

 

I would imagine you would need the change out the tails at least. Use FORScan to enable it.

I doubt he would have a dealer do this, looking at the other extensive (and impressive) mods he has done.

 

 

I added 3M Crystalline to the front, still need the back over the factory tints and windshield. Wednesday I get the Weathertech floor mats. Going to start working on the emblems over the weekend to paint them to match the truck.

 

Reception hasn't been a problem so far. Live in Fargo where it's heavily populated so I can see why it's good here, but I work far out in the middle of no where, but still is fine.

 

Replaced the third brake light, cargo lights, and license plate lights with LEDs from diode dynamics.

If anyone was on the fence, like I was, the 92 lumen HP5 LEDs for the cargo lights light up the entire bed perfectly at night. Plenty of light. Enough that I'm no longer planning bed lights.
