I may look at the Metra. Specifically want to get a wound one to reduce the whistle while driving at highway speeds. Alternative plan is to get another OEM and cut that one down to 27 inches. Either way I still have the OEM in the event of wanting to put it on for trips and wanting to listen to something other than XM.
I cut it down on my '07, just didn't feel like doing it on this one. Mine is about 6" tall, and has double rings at the top. I haven't noticed any whistling on the highway, and when I have my dog in the truck the radio isn't very loud.
Yup.....my floor looks exactly the same. The Huskys have a great fit and look great as well. Very easy to clean up. Would put them in again in a heartbeat.
Last weekend I installed the Fox 2.5 coil overs and a set of Springs to the rear.
After I put the shell on my truck the back dropped a little giving me the cali rake. I don't like my front higher than the rear. Seeing over the hood and seeing out the rear view mirror. Most important head light adjustment.
So now here is my truck after about 8 hours work this weekend.
