Tried to resolve the uncomfortable drivers seat bottom by using one out of a 2012 FX4, and drove it for a few weeks, but still get leg pains, so went to Walmart yesterday and for $8, got a 1/2 foam bed cover. Took the 12 cushion off the seat, cut 6 pieces of the 1/2" foam to go into the spring area of the seat and put the original cover back on.

WALLAH, seat is comfortable for the first time! It also looks like stock again, the 12 cushion had some age to it and didn't quite fit in with the rest of the truck, but have to admit it did cool a lot better than the original seat cushion does.

I too would like to upgrade my subwoofer. The stock one just doesn't do it for me. Can you tell me your choices? Looking for ideas. I have already upgraded the door speakers to Pioneers (TS-D1602R and TS-D6902R) and pillar speakers to Rockford Fosgate Punch P1T-S. I have an "old school" Kicker Free Air 12" from years gone by that is sitting in a drawer. I was thinking about using that. I appreciate your feedback.

Any photos of what they look like at night? Am wondering if they are brighter than the Sylvanias I installed. Mine do appear to be pretty bright as they are.

FWIW, all of my lights behind the cab are now LED. Had to install the resistors for the tail lights but wasn't an issue. Didn't feel like hacking the registry with Forscan.

Also have the LED tail light bar. It is bright. Had a chance to talk with some people late Friday night while we were all stopped for a very bad accident on the freeway. The couple behind remarked how bright the tail light bar was. And, they definitely liked the Raptor-style light bar in the grill.

How do the upgraded reverse lights compare to the stock ones?

Anyone replaced the factory antenna with an aftermarket one? If yes what did you go with? I've ready the Amazon reviews for several and this one seems to be the best in terms of ratings:

Amazon Amazon

The issue I have with the factory is it now rubs the bottom of the garage door frame since putting the new tires on (33s). It was running at our other house; frame is a little lower. Now, with the new tires the antenna is about 2 inches too tall for the other house. Would like to look at a good alternative otherwise it will be a removal of the corona ball, dremel, and reattach.

This is what I did. I took off about 4.25" or 4.5". I wish I had removed about another 0.5", but it is not worth taking down and re-doing.

Also just made a video 3 upgrades under $29.99 and they are all plug and play.

Add an easy 4th one, replace the bed lights over the back of the cab. Same bulbs as your license plate upgrade.

What year is your truck? When I click the Amazon link for the reverse lights, it says they don't fit my 2017 F-150.

I've got an Alpine MRV-M500 amp for it's remote bass ****, and auto turn on using high level speaker inputs. Then I'm running a 10" Pioneer shallow mount subwoofer, 4 gauge wiring, and a pioneer shallow mount box. I thought I posted pics on here, but maybe not. Here's some though.

I just picked up a Metra one from Autozone for like $10. It works pretty good. I haven't had any issues with it.

I may look at the Metra. Specifically want to get a wound one to reduce the whistle while driving at highway speeds. Alternative plan is to get another OEM and cut that one down to 27 inches. Either way I still have the OEM in the event of wanting to put it on for trips and wanting to listen to something other than XM.
