I'd park my F150 outside put a sun visor on the dash, put plastic protect on the exterior plastics, and keep it waxed. I'd keep my F150.

I can say my truck lives outside 24/7. I have never washed it one single time (just clean interior) and it bakes in the Texas heat with sun blaring right down on it. It's a damn truck people not a Ferrari. Just let it live outside!

Having done the opposite (traded my 2016 Colorado for my 2016 f150), I'd think hard before doing it. Several things bugged me about the Colorado, and while it doesn't feel much smaller on the outside, it sure does on the inside. I know several people who aren't in love with their current gen Tacoma's, too. My opinion, keep your F150 and let it get rained on. I'm way more about function than form, but I think that new Ridgeline is hideous.

Ridgeline might be perfect for transporting your moped, but I wouldn't know, since I've never actually seen one out in the wild...

Having driven both the Taco & CO, I give the better drive to the Taco.

If you want a better drive, go with a car, if you want payload and towing capacity, the Colorado outperforms the Japanese truck.

The Colorado has the same towing, better payload, and longer bed than my previous 2008 Sport Trac which made a very capable truck to do work with. Gearing and transmission gears are in the Sport Tracs favor as well as an additional 25 lbs of torque at 4000 rpms.

Compared to the Colorado, the Tacoma has a weaker engine, much lower crossover like payload, and lower tow rating. Not much of a truck, but it could probably handle groceries good.

By comparison, our previous '15 Explorer had a more powerful engine than the Tacoma and a much higher payload than the Tacoma. It was shy on tow rating at only 5000 lbs which left little it could tow other than a small boat. But then again, it was the wife's to haul around the kids and groceries.

^ After ~9 months in the F150, I don't know that I could go with a mid-sized truck, so it's a moot point.
Just saying that after driving both, I preferred how the Taco drove over the Colorado.
