Installed the DeeZee tailgate damper today, got it from Amazon. Bed mat should arrive tomorrow or Wednesday.
Wondering if I did something wrong, the tailgate has a noticeable shift, I did not check it prior, but did not ever notice it being moved over this way.
Edit: Drove to drop off some supplies to a friend, and when we got back, it "settled" back into place. The gap is no longer there. Crazy, I tried everything to get it to move back over with force, kicking, etc. Well, at least it looks better now! Gap on Damper side Passenger side Damper mounted
Mine did that once. It was before I added the tailgate damper. I just reopened it and close it again and it was fine. No trouble since.
Not a huge upgrade by my STX Xl steering wheel to an XLT wheel.
Still may get the raptor wheel one day. But $500 with harness to make paddle shifters work vs $60 bucks I'll take this for now. Way better than the xl crap. I drive 45 minutes to work each way so this is nice.
how about a before picture? I have a 2019 STX with the same wheel pictured.
Thanks. I guess since I have the 4.3in screen,. It doesn't seem possible from what I've read. I'll need to upgrade to Sync 3 (to be safe) with the 8in screen to get it to work.
it will be worth the upgrade for far more than just the TCU- believe me. night and day difference. what bugged me most is the 4.3 system never worked right, glitchy.

My plan has been to replace the HU with a Pioneer touchscreen. But there's a lot of great features and potential OEM add-ons with the 8" SYNC system that have me giving that option a serious look now
Personalization continues to improve our daily driver.
Installed mine yesterday in the wife's truck. For the price, these things are darn good! Fairly thick, no shifting.
Compared to the Ford Cowboy mat we had in her 16, it is not as snug fitting, the gaps on each side are slightly more evident, but not so bad I could justify spending $250 that Ford wanted for it! o_O
