What did you do to your truck today?
Heat gun, monofilament, plastic trim tools, blue painters tape, goo gone and let your thumbnails grow out a bit.
Not that bad, both sides in about 30 min. worst case. Heat, use the monofilament to saw behind the emblem. Two metal clips behind the emblem on the inside portion of the F and 0. Once you get these released by putting painters tape around the emblem and use the long thin trim tool to lose those two clips. There are also two posts inside the clips. I started using the monofilament to saw the 1 and 5 free and bent those away from the body. When you have the two clips and posts out, saw more behind the lower bar to release. Soak with Goo Gone and start rolling into boogers and use a microfiber towel to continue to rub more goo gone on the outlines which will be the last that comes off. Used a dual-action orbital to clean up behind with very light polishing compound. Cleaned and finished with alcohol to prep for new emblem. Waxed around the area when finished.

Not today but yesterday, I replaced the stock wipers with PIAA silicone wipers. The blade on the stock ones looked ok not cracked or anything but they were leaving a lot of water and streaking on the 'shield.
I mounted my dash cam and wired it into the rear window switch in the overhead console.
My dash cam uses a usb port for power, 5 vdc, so I added a tiny 12v to 5 vdc bucking power supply.
Lots of room up there in the overhead console.
So far so good. The camera starts up with the truck and turns off with the truck.
And the rear window is still operational, although I never use it.
cross another item off the list
