My shop installed the AMP Research Power Steps on my Truck. Actually yesterday.
Love them.

Replaced chrome window belt moldings with black, painted chrome door handles and chrome mirror caps. Not perfect match but close enough.

I agree, Tom, that looks great. Also thanks Dean for the install tips on the in-channels. Just ordered my AVS in-channels from Summit racing.

Looks pretty good did you paint the edge of your running board? Did you take the handles and caps off to paint? Looking to paint my black XL trim handles and mirror caps and heard the handles are tricky to remove.

2chains I did not paint the strip on the running board, just mirrors and handles. I purchased oem window belt moldings in black to replace the ones with chrome. I am probably going to black out the running board strip. The door handles are tricky to remove but they do come off without breaking anything. The mirror caps are a different story. There is a how to somewhere in the forum on how to remove the glass to get the mirror caps off without breaking any of the tabs. I broke one clip on each mirror. I wasn't to worried as I bought PTM caps to paint.

2chains, I bought a set of 4 chrome handle covers off ebay for $9.99 and had them painted to match by a professional for $40. Although it isn't for everyone, it was the look I was going for (painted handle pull, black bucket to match the tailgate handle and surround). He also painted my mirror caps and fender emblems. That's about $300 in paint, but helped to transform the truck.

So very impressed again with how it removes the wallowing effect that every 1/2 ton exhibits.

For anyone who's contemplating whether or not to apply a coat of Fluid Film on all things underneath.
That's how the Rear Diff still looks 4 months later after a couple snow storms, rainy days and quite a few dusty job site's.
