But he's the funniest guy when he's invited and not being an ***. So you like em', but positively hate him at the same time.
Ehh. What's to like about the guy?

Me; The 5.0...
Him "Ohhh dude, you shoulda got the eco!" "This thing is an absolute rocket ship compared to that"

So that's what I did FOR my truck yesterday.
I proceeded to educate him & forwarded him a couple videos in regards to the 2018-Eco 3.5 vs the 5.0 and the myth vs reality.

Normally, I could care less and not one other person would make me waste my time. But if you knew this guy, and his insanely annoying big mouth, you would have done the same.

Send him my signature video, tell him make your eco sound like that. haha.

EBs are great engines, don't get me wrong. They just can't be made to sound so great.

I thought about having a nice V8 rumble, but I kind of like how quiet the eco is. It's great for stealth missions, and I'm not that douchebag letting everyone in town know that I'm driving around. We have a kid up the road a bit with a 250 diesel and some aftermarket exhaust. While the turbo spool is cool, I can't count the number of times I've wanted to strangle him for revving it up and waking up my kids at night just to turn into a driveway 50 feet from the stop sign. Or all the way out of town until he was a mile away and we finally couldn't hear him. I'd rather not be that guy. (For what it's worth several neighbors also complained apparently, and his dad has made him change it a couple of times.)

It's all how you drive it.....
I have a Harley with straight pipes that is LOUD !
But I have shown up at peoples houses and knocked on their door and surprised them that I was riding it !
They never heard me pull up !

One of the guys we used to plow snow with put a flow master muffler on his truck......
And changed it out over the next summer.....it was annoying as all hell, we had a lot of customer complaints because of the noise.

I installed the Built Right Industries seat back latch kit on my super crew. Sure I could hack something together for cheaper, but this is a well-designed and well-executed kit from a home-grown small business. The installation was really easy and even though there is not a lot of usable space behind the seat, I hate to let it go to waste.

Besides, when I bought the truck, I asked the salesman about behind-the-seat access. He said - "you could probably manage to get it open but then you'd have to bring it into the service department to get closed." I'm sure that happened one time and now it's salesfolk lore. Nevertheless, I took it as a challenge to be able to lower and raise my seat back with ease. Built Right Ind. makes this as easy as it gets.
