Initially I wanted a sub I could hide behind the rear seat for a factory look leaving the rear floor open. The Rockford was perfect for that, but in the end I found it was unable to keep up with the aftermarket amplified front components and rear coaxials. I went with the bigger Infinity 12" and it has made a world of difference. I finally have the sound I've been looking for and if I really need the floor space under the rear seat I can just unhook the sub and pull it out temporarily.

I've got the Katzkin leather from the dealer as part of the leather and liner program. It takes longer for the heat to get through the seat from the heated seats since it is a thicker material. It also doesn't feel quite as warm to my wife (I don't use the heated seats) as compared to her 2015 Edge.

I would say that is a good explanation, I have heated grips on my motorcycle and if i wear gloves it takes longer to feel the heat and its not as warm.
