Damn, that's one sweet bitchin setup!! Unimpressive highway mpg's for a long trip. I'm sure the large tires, and lift don't help. You must have been pushing the speed limit. I found if I'm in c/c at 68-70mph I can get 20+ depending on hills.

^ ^ ^ his new effective final drive gearing is what may be hurting his MPG, and that he's not in control of the transmission.

Say you're geared too tall with a bigger, heavier tire/wheel swap... you gotta start driving the truck with your brain, not the truck's computer.

For example, lock out 6th in the six-speed, or lock out 10th, 9th, and maybe 8th in the ten-speed until you can reach minimum 1700-1800 rpm cruise. Anything below that will have the driver tipping too deep in the gas and then the PCM may be metering too much fuel for what you're doing.

Manual + Sport can be your friend if you let it. Ever ridden a mtorocycle? Same same.

Great look!! The color matching makes the truck look complete. I haven't done the door handles yet, but want to. I'm not a wheel change type person, but I like these. Are there center caps available for these wheels? NOT chrome of course.

Thanks! I’ve always used the factory wheels and upgraded tires, but this is my last truck prior to retirement, so I splurged. I ordered these.

Default I did alot over the past 2 weeks

I bought this 2019 XLT last year and said that I was not going to Mod another truck, but.....

It all started when i went to a local exhaust shop just to have a flowmaster installed so I could listen to the roar of the V8. After a couple of days I took to these forums, browsed websites, and looked at 1000's of photos and just could not resist myself. Next step was window tint and emblems, just because...

Pulled the back seats out and sent her to get a Lift Installed, oh and blacked out the side emblems.

Removed Factory Cloth and Added Katzkin Seat Covers. This was not as hard as I thought it would be. I also found a sweet deal on Ebay for a Console from a wrecked 2019 and lucked out and got it for a great price. Once my trim pieces arrive from Tasca that will be going in as well.

Installing Rough Country 6" lift with N3 Struts

Fist time on the New Suspension

Added 20x10 Fuel Contra Wheels and 35x12.50 Cooper SST's

Back looks squatted alot due to all factory parts and stock wheels and tires in bed. After all items were removed and on level ground the back is still 1" lower than the front, I will have to figure out how to get that back up 1 more inch without stacking blocks.

Road Test, then home we go

In my downtime I build my amp rack with the 2 Kicker Key amps. The 200.4 for mids and highs, and the 500.1 for 2 Comp RT 10s. Thanks to FiveStarCarStereo on youtube for the Amp Rack design. Sorry if some of the wire alignment triggers someone's OCD. I tried. Added JL Audio Components up front and Coaxials in the rear and put an underseat sub box in the back. Was still able to maintain my storage trays under the rear seats. The amp rack mounts behind the driver rear seat and bolts to the factory seat latch point. I made the tolerances pretty tight on the 1/4" blown PVC for the amp rack so it fits in tight and just the 1 bolt holds it perfectly.

Tore the front end apart to get ready for grill and bumpers. While I was there I went ahead and installed K&N Intake and Tuned with SCT BDX Tuner to turn off Auto Start Stop, Recal for Tires, and load in a pretty sweet tune for the 5.0.

Rough Country Steps installed!

Barricade HD Rear Bumper installed

Barricade HD Front Bumper installed and knock off Amazon RTR Grill.

I did remove the Front Crash Bars as I knew it would not look right with the new bumper and trimmed the plastics in line with the new bumper.
