18,000 miles on my 2016 and first time changing the cabin air filter. Easy job and I'm betting I could have done it with just dropping the glove box. Going to try that way next time.

continued work to replace pretty much all the factory lighting on my XLT... replaced factory fogs with Rigid SAE D-Series in yellow. a bit time consuming, but loving the look. just trying to be patient until the alpharex heads and tails get here in (hopefully) mid-January...

Looking good, but what are you jacking on in the front like that?

the large front cross frame member (name?) - it was actually on jack stands while working on it, but i left the jack in mostly upright position throughout - does something look off?

That cross member probably wasn't designed to support about 60% of the weight of the truck, that's the reason the recommended lift points are the frame rails, behind the front suspension. Two lifts at the proper lift points will prevent damage to your truck's frame.

I see that being done off/on. Like Motorsports said, it's not the best place. Look on the frame below about where the front seats are, you'll see an arrow on the frame, that's where Ford recommends to jack. I've seen some of the tire stores like to use the LCA at the balljoint. I questioned that even, although that is a better place than the crossmember. Not criticizing, just suggesting. Jacking where Ford says, does have a drawback if your truck is leveled, the jack has to lift high enough. I have one of those Daytona jacks from Harbor Freight, it's a 3 ton, and lifts better than 24". I've noticed as well, that when I use it, the rear tire is just about off the ground too

Cleaned my dry filter. Pretty easy process. I have an additional one from my other F150. Nice having two so that way you can still use the truck while the other is drying out.
