I think that's mostly because they're for people who've ballooned the tyres, the larger flares help them appear to "fit".

@ser3100 I think they look decent on your truck, man. I appreciate that they're not pocket style flares as well. If you get them painted to match, that would really complete "the look". IMHO

Used wet/snow transmission mode for the first time. Didn’t try it last year. It just made the truck gutless to avoid spinning the tires. Felt like I was having a hard time maintaining speed on the hill. Coming home up the winding hill was slippery as a baby seal in a bucket of snot. I shifted to normal halfway up the hill. I was going 40mph in a 45 I usually travel at 50, stayed at 40 due to weather.
And I filled it up. Lie o meter said 17.7mpg, calculated 16.5mpg over 3/4 tank. With all the hills I travel, I’m thinking about trying sport mode for a tank for comparison.
I also eBayed a full console shelf. I have factory one and had an aftermarket one added. Slammed the lid down and broke the extra one in half ;(

Blacked out the wheels and gave it a ceramic bath. Really like the look with the black wheels. Used the new Hyperdip shadow black, worked pretty well.

@ser3100 I think the OEM would look a lot better!

Those wheels look great! If/when I get rid of my Fuels, I'll look for black OEMs. Nice job!

Put on the snowshoes.

Damn grabbed the wrong lugs! Had to go home and swap them for the OEM lugs to secure the hub caps. Being old is getting that way, but what the hell, got the time. KM
