Picked it up late Friday!! Husky floor mats and wheel well liners are on order. Stubby antennae will be here Thursday! Removed all dealer badging and the bedside decals. And finally the tint appointment was scheduled. Loving the upgrade from my old 2011 xlt!

 

Added 6.5" stubby antenna, and purchased a set of 20" VR601 wheels in Carbon Graphite from Apollo-Optics. Spoke to Nick over the phone, asked some questions, and then placed my order online.

 

Finally got the time to epoxy my new badges back together. They look AWESOME!!!




I can't wait to put them on this weekend! Gonna let the epoxy set up for a few days, and we got a few days of rain in the forecast too. So I still gotta wait to see them ON the truck!

 

Read the instructions.
SO and I worked together. Very easy.
Start in the center and work your way to the outside.
One side first, then the other.
Ensure you align the bottom edge along the front face of the hood.
Simple and easy.

I put the same one on my truck this past weekend. When I bought my truck, Ford gives you 22,000 reward points, which equates to $110. Just enough to buy the shield. I really like the look, my truck is the Oxford White so it really stands out. I just don’t know how well it will hold up
