Default What did you do to your truck today?

Unless I'm blind I didn't see one of these threads. Seems most forums have one.

Post up what you did TODAY to your truck. Part install, maintenance, washing etc.

I installed an AFE intake on my 16 Ecoboost today.

Not really what I did to the truck but what the truck was able to do for me.

Everything about this picture is right. If you told me a year ago that my wife would be hunting deer with me, I would have said you’re full of ****. For those of you that don’t know her, she was diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases about 10 years ago that took away all of her 20’s. A few recent medication changes and we are making a step in the right direction. For me, this was more than just a deer hunt, this was a deer hunt with her that wouldn’t have been possible just a few months ago. She is one step closer to getting her life back and this picture NAILS every bit of that. Look at her face. She is now out in her stand waiting for her first big deer. It’s going to happen, the fires been lit.

Had installed a starter remote control.
My start is the brand. My 2 OEM keys where programmed so I start the truck with " lock-unlock-lock" sequence so there is not horn sound as with double lock button.

But the nice thing about this system is that I can control it via my phone mostly in any populated area in my province of Quebec/Ontario and for free, since it is a made in Quebec.
So I can be 200 miles from my truck and still lock-inlock my doors or start/ stop the truck.

Installed Deezee tailgate shock...10 minutes job

My only concern is those 2 plates that I think are steel that are mated with aluminum body. What would you put between them to prevent corrosion?

Currently on second tank of 91 oct fuel. .Comparing performance, mileage, cost per mile, and any other differences. I have run a log on this truck since new. Just over 2000 miles now. I tried to locate info, testing, and such on this engine (3.3) and was unable to. I thought I might do a right up.
