Total PITA to reach your hand down there to release it, so you have to drill a hole through the pin, add the ring and a strap/line.

BuiltRight Industries makes a kit you can buy with the strap attached to solve this problem.

Yeah, I knew there was a slicker solution out there, but my fix was free and 10 minutes of my time...

Weather is finally breaking here in Michigan.. Washed, Iron remover, washed, clay bar, two coats of Mothers CMX. Paint is smooth as glass and could be used by my wife as a mirror. Next up is grill swap, emblems changed, level and new wheels/tires. Almost dune season here in MI!

5.0 guys look away.

I installed a custom dual rear cat back exhaust on my 2018 2.7L Lariat this past weekend. Straight through muffler with no resonator. I know exhausts on Eco's cause some interesting debates. I got a fantastic deal on this exhaust so I decided it was well worth the gamble. I was so nervous to hear the first start up. I'm very happy with this sound. Not all will like this, but that's fine with me.

There is zero drone on the hwy and it sounds very nice from in the cabin. Here's a quick video I put together. There's dual rear outlet and a side exit version as well. It comes with chrome tips, but I opted for the black 4" tips for $20 more. Price is around $300!! PM me if you're interested in exact pricing. I'll get you in touch with the seller.

How I wish I was not at work right now due to loudness! I'll check this out later for sure.
