He is referencing the bumper. If you look at the rear bumper of your truck, you will notice you have metal at both ends with just the plastic in the center. The two metal ends come off separately from thew plastic center, these two metal ends are called the End Caps. They will either be Chrome or body colored - see the two white ends in his photo.

Picked mine up from being at the dealer for 2.5 days to replace a seat cover, perform the seat belt recall and the transmission TSB. I haven't driven it far enough to determine any difference in the transmission but I also understand it has to re-learn my habits after the TSB was performed.

Finally have a chance to post, but got some much needed new shoes for a pretty good deal!
And then took a weekend trip to St. Louis!

If you stagger your connections you won't end up with a lump in the harness.

lump is from the end of the parrot harness with the fuse holder
