Had a set of Bumpershellz painted to finish de-chrome. Will post up after buffing and install.
Nice. I'm considering this option myself as soon as they have them for the '18s. Seems like a lot less hassle/downtime than taking the bumpers off and having them painted. Looking forward to seeing them on the truck.
Since my Mustang is waiting on a motor rebuild, I snagged the SCT X4 from it. Plugged it into the truck and to my surprise, it works! Don't plan on tuning the truck but it's nice to have the gauges.
I had a tuner in my last truck and messed around with some stuff, but in the end, the nicest part was just being able to see the gauges like that. Will you keep it in the truck, or does that go back when the Mustang is done?
Drove thru a construction zone where they were saw cutting some concrete.

It will go back when my Mustang motor is finished. I use it a lot when I drag race to see coolant temps and intake air temp. I also datalog quite a bit for my tuner as I spray nitrous.
Bumpershellz installed. Color match not perfect. Not bad not having the truck there and not blending on a 18 month old truck. My chrome grill will go back on and will keep center section of bumper chrome I think.
Just installed Philips Intense Red Vision LED bulbs for the tail lights. Only downside is the truck thinks a bulb is out so the audible "blinker sound" is faster than normal but the lights are "blinking" at a normal rate. I don't think that will be a deal breaker though. They are definitely brighter than the stock 3157 bulbs by maybe 20-30%.
