My 2018 Platinum is Platinum White and I'm 72 years old. I doubt there is any science to color and age.
I might add a note that White is not necessarily my favorite color on vehicles. Where I live White is the coolest color temperature wise and doesn't show dirt as easily.

I'm 34, and my truck is Shadow Black.
I was 32 when I purchased the last truck, and it was black.
Before that, 26, and black.
Before that, 22, and black.
Before that, 18, and black.
If this truck holds up like I want it to, I suspect my next truck will be when I'm 40. Any guess on the color?

Its either Lead foot Gray or Shadowblack. But im more toward black.
