LOL. I'm not worried about aluminum rusting or the door falling off. I just don't want it prematurely looking like sh*t.

The fix for that will require repainting the right rear door. The color coat will only be in the area of the damage, so you won't have to worry about color match. Some shops will try to blend the clear and keep it in the top area to avoid clearing over the whole door, but whenever the clear is blended, it leaves an area that can fade sooner, so I would push for having the entire door cleared. Also, you want them to remove everything off the door to make sure there are no paint lines where it could start to peel, so the shop will have to remove and reinstall the glass, run channel, applique, belt molding, and outer door handle. With that being said, I wouldn't let that little mark prevent me from taking delivery of the truck, but I would insist on it being fixed properly. If it were me, I wouldn't push for a discount on the truck, but instead would tell Ford that they are going to pay a shop of my choice to fix it, this way you can take it somewhere that you know will do it properly, and many good quality body shops offer a lifetime warranty, so you won't have to worry about it failing.

It's Aluminum, it wont rust.

I wouldn't accept deliver until it was fixed to my expectations and then I'd sign the papers

It is not uncommon for a paint flaw to exist. Ford will make it right.

Great+Union+Quality Control = Oxymoron. Get the truck you want with the quality you want. This is the US...vote with your $$$.

I would let them fix the door (some has to) if you can tell it has been repaired walk away if you can't enjoy your new ride!! I know that had to be a big let down but if they can make it right no big deal.

I might add, if your dealer would have noticed it before you were called, they may have fixed it and you would have not been the wiser. I can't help but think that small fixes happen all the time with no problems. These things have to get dings and marks in transit alone.
I would let them fix it, make sure its OK, and literally drive on!
Its a truck.
