Love it and been doing it since I swapped Sync3 into my 15 with my android head unit.... didn't know apple couldn't already do that?

I think CarPlay was limited to only using Apple Maps.

On a side note, Waze is absolutely the main reason I use Android Auto. The other AA features are nice, but I use Waze everyday. Not sure why anyone would hate it.

the music controls on carplay are nice too. so is the hands free sms. I'm going to update waze and try it on the way home tonight.

Agreed - I run it for every trip >5 miles....

I live in the sticks so to go anywhere requires getting on the expressway. Can't tell you how many times it's saved my *** from getting on, then being stuck on the expressway for hours due to accidents and taking the back ways instead....

It's also great for those of us with a lead foot, though not all are there, most of the time cops are flagged pretty well....

EXACTLY!

It is BY FAR the most useful and accurate GPS app there is. It saves $1000's a year in red light/speed cams alone.

And absolutely nothing beats it for driving down the highways. I can see where cops are sitting with speed traps miles before I get there. Also saving tons of money in the process....

I have been beta testing this for a few months. I prefer this over CarPlay since it keeps you in the Sync 3 context.

I'm new to this one. Is the USB connection from the iPhone a one time deal then to download the app to Sync 3?
