With a rain, my water comes in thru the hood release cutout on the kick panel and puddles on the door sill. When I wash it, it hasn't leaked yet.

Mine was built Oct 2014, early build, and it just started doing this a month ago.

I don't know if it the windshield, moonroof drain, or cowl panel seam.

2015 Lariat Supercrew with moonroof. Any more input appreciated. Thanks

If your headliner is also damp after the rain then it is a drain stoppage from the roof in the left front, open your roof and get on a step ladder and see if there is water laying. If the drain is not working it over flows and ends up filling the sill. Ask me how I know........................

Angry Water leak driver side

Same problem with my new F150 Lariat Screw 4x4! Picked it up late Dec. In early Feb., a Weathertech salesman was showing me how their floor mats fully cover the carpet, he noted how wet the carpet was... It was if several cups of water were poured over the floor! I thought I had brought in alot snow on my boots so I tried to dry out the carpet and put a towel down under the mat when driving. Wet carpet continued no matter what I did. Inital contact with the Ford dealership offered no information. My Research lead me to this forum which helped me to contact the Ford dealer to get the leak fixed. Truck has been there since 04/05. Outside glass repair was not available until tomorrow 04/12. Hopefully, they has the leak fixed and I have no trouble in the future with mold or electrical trouble due to water exposure to the interior of my truck!

It really sucks to pay this much for the truck of your dreams and find a water soaked carpet. I expected better from Ford!

It rained most of the day. Took out trim around windshield at pull handle and removed sun visor and found that the side air curtain air bag was wet. The hose to the moonroof was connected and no water in moonroof tray. Water is coming in thru windshield in one spot. Taking to dealer.

Hey guys original poster here .. Seems the windshield as talked about early in the thread can have an issue . Make sure your trim piece on the bottom door ham is removed and water is not in channel .

Quick update while I'm here . Tons of rain here lately in the Boston area my issue seems fixed . Been checking it daily .

Sorry to hear, just went to dealership yesterday for a unrelated accessory part and they said they have another truck with the same issue " they can fix quicker this time " ordered new carpet padding etc. He didn't recall the model but he thought it was a 16 . ( mine is a 15 XL )

To clarify for the benefit of the original thread sounds like you guys have the " windshield issue " that is known of ... My issues was under the front passenger fender , seam of body was not filled properly . My door sill was full of water and carpet soaked . Just to help future readers . Hope you guys get things resolved .

Haven't had a good rain yet to see if the problem occurs again. I'm going to wash my truck this weekend to see if anything shows up. I haven't taken my truck in yet to be looked at. So I'm going to see if it does it again.

If you haven't already pop up that long trim piece at door sill .. Comes right up with a few pop in clips. That channel with the wire loom should obviously be dry.. Not 2 inches of water .
