Default Water leak --Panoramic Sunroof ?

Not 100% sure if I have a major water leak or just a one time occurence. Mostly likely the sunroof. For others who have had water in the cab have you dried up and waited for a 2nd problem or just called service?

I have 3/4 of front passenger floor wet and a good amount or water if I push down showing the pad is completely soaked in maybe 1/4 of the carpet. Debating on calling service to schedule appointment or drying up and see if it happens again. Owned the truck about 1 year generally park outside same area. This is the first time I have noticed a problem.

Appreciate feedback from others who have been through this. Did you immediately take it in the first time you noticed? If you didn't did the water problem after being discovered remain constant or just ocassional?

thanks for any help

Man, that stinks. I traded my 15 Lariat yesterday for the same reason. Took it in under warranty and was told it was fixed, but it was not. I can't deal with a leak so I just got rid of it.

17 XLT Sport FX4, 302A. My Lariat was loaded out, but I am pretty pleased with the XLT.

Pretty sure I'll never own another vehicle with a sun/moon roof.

I have had a sunroof in ALL my vehicles ranging from:
4-Runner
2-Lexus SUV (still own 1)
Honda
BMW
Toyota truck

And NEVER EVER has 1 drop of water leaked in any of those vehicles, I cannot believe the amount of sunroof leak issues are on this forum alone!! BUT, Ill take my chances with the F-150 when I order my 2018 as it will have the Big roof lol...

I know these issues are in the minority but every time I read one of these threads I am that much closer to ordering my 2018 Platinum without the sunroof.

My friends husband has his bought back by ford because the roof wouldn't quit leaking. He got another without the sunroof. I've never had one leak before but i've never had a f150 with one either.

I'm right there with you, only my decision has been made. I will NOT be ordering my Platinum with a sunroof.

Default Panoramic roof leaking

[QUOTE=BadBoy4fun_wa;5351564]Not 100% sure if I have a major water leak or just a one time occurence. Mostly likely the sunroof. For others who have had water in the cab have you dried up and waited for a 2nd problem or just called service?

I have 2018 F150. Only has 9000 KM on it and its been to dealership 3 times. It had leak in it's transmission due to cracked bearing. They kept the truck in shop for 3 months because they didn't have parts for transmission. Now have truck back after transmission fix it still have hard shifting and vibration issues. I am bringing it back again for fourth time tomorrow. Oh btw just took my son with me to go-to carwash and guess what the friggin panoramic roof is leaking from two places pretty bad. I'm so disappointed on my purchase. It's only 9000 km SMH.
