Water leak from 3rd brake light?
I have a quick question for everyone I was just replacing my carpet mats with all weather mats and noticed a light gray color under the rear seat it almost looks like mold. The carpet did not seem to be damp or anything butI will have to check later with a hose to see if water actually is getting in. Has anybody else had a problem with water leaking into the rear carpet any help would be appreciated

Does your 3rd brake light lens have any evidence of moisture or debris? That would be something easy to check. Is the headliner stained in the corners? If either checks are positive, then 3rd brake light is a possibility.

Ford has had known issues with water leaks from the 3rd brake light for about 15 years now, along with windshield & satellite radio antenna leaks. You would think after all this time Ford could find a sealant or gasket that actually works.
Here's a video I made to show the dealership after they claimed they couldn't find any water leaks on my windshield, even though the entire inside of my windshield would have condensation on it every morning & water would be in my passenger floor board. I removed the plastic wiper cowl, turned my truck on to max A/C setting to pressurize the cabin & sprayed soapy water around everything. You can clearly see the air escaping through a leak in my windshield sealant making bubbles with the soapy water. If air can get out, water can get in. This was on my 2010 F150. Their response after seeing the video was "we're not glass specialist & don't install glass, what do you want us to do". They said Ford refused to actually replace the windshield, so they squirted about a tube of body sealer along the bottom of the windshield, thank god it was covered by the plastic cowl because it looked like ****.

Then another had his rear cab-bed window leak, but the worst was the body panels not installed correctly.
In fact they said you could see the issue with a flashlight, between bed and cab.
Good luck

Anybody got any issues with their Max A/C Setting, everytime I turn mine to Max, the fan speed drops to absolute min., even with fan set to highest, it works fine in Normal A/C setting, just Not Max.
