Default Water found under door sill

The other day I opened the truck door and smell stagnant water smell coming from the floor,
I looked around and found it was definitely coming the door sill plate so I removed it and low behold there was a puddle,
Anyone else have this problem?

Most people who have this problem say that it's the sunroof drain tubes not connected properly from the factory or they're clogged. Usually the factory hasn't connect them properly.

I attached some pics from the service manual. Hope this helps.

RL1990, can you elaborate on those who find the drain tubes connected improperly from the factory? Where are they finding the problems? Up top or down at the bottom? LH, RH, Front, or, back? I also find what I consider to be more than expected water underneath the bottom weatherstripping of the rear doors on my F150 when I wash it. I had chalked it up to just some questionable door seals at the bottom, but perhaps I should check those drain tubes...

Thanks,
Chris

What's the Inner Diameter of those drain tubes? Looks like a few pine needles and dirt, and it's time to call the plumber.

Check the holes behind the rear seats located on the wall between cab and bed
There should be tape patches on the holes item 30 small oval holes

I did. Had water come down the passenger side and had water puddling under the sill. Also had water that was behind the trim by the passenger side kick panel/fuse panel. 2015 loaded Lariat 502A with 28k on it. Traded it in a couple weeks ago on a 17 XLT 302A after the dealership "fixed" it. Didn't buy from that dealership obviously.

Unfortunately I cannot elaborate any further. My truck doesn't have a sunroof but many people here have and are going through what you are. A few have said their dealer noted that the drain tubes were not connected properly causing the leaks.

How do you get to the drain tubes to see if that is the cause? I ask because my 12 fx4 screw is leaking water in the rear drivers side. headliner is wet and water down along the inside

Update: the dealer found the "leak" they said it was a clogged sunroof drain, but they never did anything with the mold smell.....
