Wasn't impressed with the close up look of a '15 F150

That's one way to look at it. Everytime I see someone say that they look awesome, I instantly think they just overpaid for the latest and greatest and they are trying to feel better about it. I like the '15's, but like the previous generation more right now. I'm sure it will grow more on me though. Everyone says the inside of the '15's is a huge improvement over the 14's. I don't see it. Sure, they have some cool new features, but those square style vents look like a step back to me. I could have a '15 tomorrow if I wanted, but no way in hell I'm restarting that clock!

Keepin' the lights on!
I wasn't impressed initially either but after seeing one lifted in person and the lifted/leveled ones on here, I've kind of changed my mind. This seems to be a body style that needs bigger tires, decent aftermarket wheels/up level wheels and at least a leveling kit to look good to me. I may go take a closer look next week.

I've now owned 2003 Fx4, 2005 Lariat, 2008 Limited, 2010 Platinum, 2012 Platinum, and now the 2015 Platinum - which is by far the most advanced and impressive truck I have owned. I appreciate the extras and a luxurious interior and have never changed trucks and thought my old one was better. To each his own but I like the look and drive of my new vehicle.

I respectfully disagree. I have never been in a better position to buy a new truck. I'm 44, my mortgage is payed off, I have a great job and I'm practically debt free. I don't like the 15 for a lot of reasons, hell, I said the same thing about the 04 when it came out. But after a couple years the changes grew on me and I had to have one, I'm sure the same thing will happen with this new model, it will grow on me and I will have to have one come 2017 or so. But only if it's proven to be dependable and not a money pit.

To each his own... I guess that why some people choose to drive Chevy's and Dodge's, but in the end the F150 is the most popular truck in the USA, year end and year out.

I love the diversity of opinions. Love the 15. Hate the 15. Bought an XLT with chrome, love. Bought an XLT with chrome, I'm spraying plastidip all over it to cover it.
