Just do what I do. Keep a jug in the tool box and while you are filling up I do a complete walk around of the truck checking for damage, tire condition, leaks/noises, pop hood check leaks/noises and fill up washer reservoir. All of this can be done in the time my 23 gal empty tank takes to fill up

Imagine how much more you could do if you had a 36 gal. tank!!

It's been so long since I've used mine I'm thinking I should go out and make sure it (pump) works.

Next one will have 36gal tank or I'll swap one in. Just think, I'll have enough time to take a nap probably

If you have any engine but the V8 you have room to bungie a jug under the hood for when you run out.

Just don't ask why there isn't a low fluid warning light. Some folks here get themselves into a knot over it thinking it's the most ridiculous feature to have.

If I was designing it... it would hold a gallon and a half of fluid and have a low level light that comes on when there is a half gallon left.. Then I could dump the whole gallon container in at once..

But maybe Ford is thinking ahead to when the fluid starts coming in 2 quart containers.. Because we are getting to lazy to lift gallon containers..

All these answers were quite entertsining, yet
My wuestion temains unanswered. I do not
Live in the desert. Bugs and road grime are a problem. The 2015 reservoir is half the size, or less, of the 1998. Still looking for a larger tank.
