Because he does not want to give up his hand because he thinks Ford is watching, my guess! Based on the consensus here, I think hes screwed.

Possibly buying time to get a better story formulated or take pictures from angles that don’t give away what really happened.

After making a huge case about how this is fords fault and threatening legal action, he probably found out or was told that he was actually responsible for the failure. Now hes trying to find a way out without admitting to all of us that he didnt have his own facts straight and that he was wrong.

I’m surprised this thread is still going I read it a while back and the OP seemed to be fired up and in denial, which isn’t a river in Africa.

Actually it is a river in Africa. But that's not all it is.

Long story short...Ford will not help you. I had to sue them (and I won) before they’ll listen. Get an attorney or pay cash....sorry man.

I posted asking about winning warranty battles with Ford in the Performance, Tuning, and Racing section. Would you mind posting details of your success over there? This would be the first actual story of a win that I have heard. Thanks.

You guys know that you can plastidip wheels without pulling the tires off the wheel, right?

shoot, some ricers will dip wheels while still on a car. Dip isn't paint. It's rubber coating. Somebody who takes tires off to dip wheels is wasting way too much time on an easily-removable surface coat.

If the lugs came loose, I still don't see the wheel cracking/breaking like this. Just too weird.

And believe it or not, there are plenty of folks who will utilize the legal system on the principle alone, regardless of economics. There are multi-million-dollar lawsuits that go on every day when the potential recovery is a small fraction of what is being sought, soled on principle.

Just reading through all of this and no one has mentioned that the dealer denied the Warranty, does this denial void his warranty or part of the affected items or system?
