Agreed. Let's just hope there was some tiny improvement since his last set was produced. I would like to know the x/32nd measurements instead of miles because that is truest way to know tire used/life left.

It'll cost about $300 to get all 4 replaced... They should be shipping and arriving on Wednesday so I'll get them replaced this week.
I see looking through the thread that a few people are reporting the same issues.... not good, and it's made me re-think having the same tire put on...
Tire Code for anyone with these is : 38 16. 38th week of 2016

If it were my deal (and it could be?), i would not want the same model tires put on...just say'n.
Plan on taking the truck out today and will have a look at my tires.

So I’m now sitting in Discount Tires and they are fitting four BFGoodrich All Terrain. All I’m paying is the difference and fitting, works out $200 more than replacement Wranglers. I’m reluctant to go for another set of the same Goodyear’s as several people are reporting similar issues.

Discount Tires are also giving me almost the full value for the tires, which is more than the Goodyear dealership were willing to do.

Tread was 9/32.

I’m very impressed with Discount Tire, and their willingness to help me with the issues. The Goodyear guys just wanted to argue and seemingly grudgingly agree to a change...

If you have these Goodyear Wranglers, go check them now just in case.

Alan

I love Discount Tire, I'll never go anywhere else. They've always been good to me and anybody I know.

Heads up. Just check my tires in the sunlight and found several small cracks developing at the knit lines on two tires just like the OP. Date code 3716 with almost 10k miles.

I'm going to keep an close eye on the tires and if it continues to increase a trip to Discount Tire is in order.
