VSS LED Mount Location

I don't have the vss, but I read the detailed installation instructions and it covered the led. It says to mount it on top of the steering column cover right behind the steering wheel. It also says you can mount it in any other location you want it to be visible from.

I put mine about 9 O'Clock so it is visible from the window, but not while driving.
