Not sure what you mean. To pull the entire assembly out, you have to remove the radio bezel, then unbolt and slide the console back.

The AC vent pieces you have. Do they come out as the whole assembly like in your pics or do the actual vents (adjustable parts) come out of those pieces?

Oh, gotcha. Yes, the vents themselves do come out of the whole assembly.

I have been thinking to do this for some time...i still havent decided on what I want..my truck is race red ..and have black accents..so I am thinking either red or glossy black...
now my question is..would you have instructions on dismantling the panels? I have been searching and even started a thread on it..all I got is to remove the sync system..that might give me some access...however I am still unsure of the ac vents etc. Would you have any instructions?

Haven't had any luck finding any ideas online expect for this one pic and after spending a good part of the day with a sample book was able to come up with any idea

I like the orange but feel like they went kinda over board with it all done. Anyone on here wrapped or painted their interior ? Or have any ideas

I've reworked a lot of my interior. Let me know what questions you have and I'll help you out the best I can.

Looks like you did a good job with the wrap, but I'll be honest and say Carbon fiber and pickup trucks really don't go together IMO, unless MAYBE a raptor and even then I'm on the fence about it.

When i think carbon fiber, I think sports cars. I have some carbon fiber on my BMW car, but don't think I'd ever put anything CF on my truck. That is just me...

With that said, what you could re-wrap it in are:
1) brushed aluminum - either silver or black
2) piano black - which is just a high glossy black look
3) wood pattern - which also isnt my favorite, but may match depending on other mods. I'd go DARK wood...
4) color match with the exterior of your truck

I'm with you. Plus, I think CF is getting old. Especially the black CF. I would look at some of the textured or patterned stuff that's out there. I saw some alligator wrap the other day that was ridiculous! I'm thinking of going that route, but don't know if my two tone in my trick will support it. Just my $0.02 man. Good luck either way.

I vote go for it. Quite honestly, I think that would be an extremely different but very cool addition. I would be careful and not over do it. It could be something that overdone could look gaudy but doing it in a few larger areas would look extremely well. Like I wouldn't want to see the whole center console wrapped. but like the flat area inside the console and around the sync screen while leaving the air conditioning vents and stuff alone. I say do it, post some picture and send me a PM I would love to see it. I mean seriously that would blow the whole carbon fiber look away. I really think you could pull this off very tastefully.
