vibrations possibly due to lower ball joint
has anyone replaced their lower ball joint yet? what symptoms did you have?
my 2018 has a steering wheel vibration which is faint at 60kmh and up while going straight... turn the wheel slightly to the left (ie. a fast sweeping turn) and the vibration is more pronounced...at higher speeds i can feel the same vibration in the gas pedal and chassis.
sofar done under warranty:
-brand new OEM wheels and tires (take offs from another new truck
-new IWEs
-new front hubs
-wheels aligned
-new steering rack
-machined front rotors
still the issue is there...
after thinking about it more... it could be a bad right lower ball joint...as i make a left turn, more load is placed on the right side ball joint.... i think the dealer hasn't thought about it because you cant check ball joints while the truck is lifted on its frame for looseness....you have to lift by the lower control arm and then use a long bar to check for vertical movements...
