What would the issue be going to a local dealer and having it checked out?

Because apparently Ford has little control over dealers and if you didn't buy the truck from them, they can treat you like a piece of crap and get away with it.

I have this exact same problem in my 2015 5.0 Screw. Sort of a vibration/grinding feeling in the gas pedal, mostly at between 1700 and 2300 RPM, this can be reproduced at any speed as long as the truck is in that RPM range. It's super annoying and now that I've noticed it I can't stop feeling like it's just getting worse.

My truck still has less then 2k miles on it...

Same RPM range as mine. Unfortunately that's where my truck spends 90% of its time. Sport mode doesn't change anything either.

I just went and poked around a bit around the gas pedal, looks like it's all electronic, not cable driven. There has to be something faulty with the actuator in the pedal.

I was hoping it would be as simple as zip tying a cable to stop it moving/vibrating, looks like it's more complex then that though.

Default Same issue

No noise just vibration in gas pedal, most noticeable when accelerating but engine doesn't down shift.

Sent PM to this ford service person , will see if anything comes out of it, if not going to dealer.

I have done some more "experimenting." Seems way worse when the A/C is on. The difference is so drastic that I almost thought the vibration went away and then I saw that I had the A/C off. Thought what the heck and turned it on and bingo! Vibration is back. Lol! I'm dropping it off at the dealer Sunday night. Will keep you posted. I'm hoping it just needs some udated flash.

I've had ours to the dealer twice. My complaints were rough idle(which I would say is more of a quiver) and what I would consider excessive vibration at around 2,000 and 3,000 rpm. The first trip to the dealer there was an update so they performed that. Road tested and found nothing with the vibration. I think they were looking for an out of balance tire not engine vibration. Needless to say I thought the quivering idle got worse after the update and the vibration remained unchanged. The second trip to the dealer was coordinated through Ford Customer Service and resulted in the truck sitting at the dealer for two days. They said they were working with Ford "techline" however because no misfires or codes were found Ford said the truck is "fine and dandy". BTW the dealer techs and service writers acknowledge the quivering idle.
I've installed new plugs just on the outside chance a plug had a problem, but that changed nothing- oh well it was easy and cheap. I was going to head up to the dealer today and take a new one off the lot for a drive and see if a new one is the same but I won't get time, maybe next week. I find it unacceptable to pay 60 grand for this truck and have it run like it does- very frustrating. I think my biggest gripe is the fact that the vibration is around 2,000 rpm @70-75 mph. After an hour of driving the bottom of my feet are numb from the floor vibration. The quivering idle is too noticeable at a stop light to ignore. Hopefully someone will figure out what the problem is. I'm considering a tune from LMS or 5 Star in hopes that the cause is the Ford strategy and a custom tune will clear it up but I hate to spend the money and not have a resolution.

My reference is the ecoboosted '13FX4 I drive at work which idles smooth as glass and has no vibrations what so ever. The work truck currently has 8,500 miles ours 4,500. I traded in our '13 5.0 for this one and had no complaints with the 5.0 at all, maybe I should have passed on the '15 or the ecoboost I don't know. All I know is this problem is far to annoying to put up with for the length of time we will likely have the truck.

Other's with this issue please update the thread as you work through this issue, it's much appreciated! Also, if you notice the idle seems less than smooth let me know- at least I'll know I'm not crazy. I know the OP posted about the vibration and I'm not trying to hijack the thread with the idle problem but perhaps the issues have a common root cause.

My 3.5 EB has a similar idle "quiver" that cycles every few seconds. Feels like the engine wants to idle low as possible then the computer boosts it back to normal idle, and the cycle repeats. Before I accepted the truck, I checked out a similar 3.5 EB on the lot and it quivered too. Dealer service said mine was operating within normal parameters.
