Haven't seen that one before in either of the F150s I've had and have.

What does EcoBoost have anything to do with your vehicle charging system?

If the battery state-of-charge data is fouled up, you'll see this. There's a reset process you can initiate through ForScan, or your dealer can initiate through IDS. That would be my first step.

Past that... are you sure the battery and charging system don't actually have an issue? And the truck is doing exactly what it's supposed to do?

When I disabled Auto Stop/Start with FORScan, that was the message I started getting. I just ignore it.

Take it to a dealer, sheesh. The start/stop system has nothing to do with the engine it's attached to. The 2018s will have auto Start/Stop on every engine (IIRC). If there is a fault in your battery or there is some other charging issue, it would be automatically disabled.

Have it checked, they will fix the non-engine related part, and move on with life.

Well If I would have got the V8 I wouldn't have had the auto start stop and wouldn't have this issue in the first place. I did take it to dealership a while back, they tested charging system everything was ok, I was told that the battery had to be at optimal conditions for it to work, and still 2 months and nothing on that system is working. Did a battery load test today and everything was fine...I just know how it's going to go when I take it to ford. They will say the same thing they told me last time. Funny thing is, my dad bought the exact same truck same day I bought mine and he works at the same place I do, does the same drive every day and he has never seen the vehicle charging message...just hoping maybe someone else has run into this issue.
