Vacuum system, GenII 3.5
Not sure if everyone realizes this, but the GenII 3.5, in 2017, came with no mechanical vacuum pump. I don't know about the other Egoboosts beyond that year.
Anyway, here's a couple links if anyone is interested. The second one has an explanation, made for 6th grader mentality, but it is helpful. Enjoy. Discuss?

Do we know if this was used on all EcoBoost engines in later years?

I don't know that. Previous articles I've read, led me to think Ford was going to do this across the board. Those two articles I linked have been the most informative I've found, Ford sure has kept this quiet it seems.
Scott, would you mind taking a look at yours? Off the throttle body there would be about a 3/4" hose leading right into this assembly. You could also follow the vac hose for the IWEs towards the engine, and run right into it.

Can anyone look at their newer 2.7 or any other Egoboost you might have?
