I tried everything using forscan for my 2015 XLT which originated in Canada, and it still defaulted to kph and could not get it to change. I just got used to changing it when needed, but I didn't typically default to that screen.

One unintentional upgrade by going with a larger cluster from Livnitup was it now defaults to MPH.

There are some premium aftermarket ones but I've yet to see any importers use them. The OEM & good aftermarket ones are thick and are designed to stand up to heat & UV where the cheap ones are flimsy like a painted overhead transparency film.

1....mine is a 2018 so maybe updated. But I just tried the digital speedo. When restarted, the speedo defaults to what ever it was when it was shut down, MPH or KPH
2....can't help with the camera, I have the back up assist/perimeter option, and it does have the turning guide lines. I'm going to guess the camera gets more features as the trim level goes up?

I have a 2016 XLT from Canada. I haven't tried to change it but it does default to MPH. Maybe a computer glitch? FYI I believe they are still made in the US just imported.

I tried looking at my XLT last night; both of us have the 4.2" screen, and I have the active guidelines. I could not find any settings for the camera lines. If anyone does know where the setting lives I'd like to know how to get there. I seem to recall finding something a few years ago when I first got the truck.

An update on our situation: I connected the OBDII reader and it is throwing code B115E:08 which is a communication error. I think I will take the dash apart and check the connections at the image processing module.

We also found this thread elsewhere: http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2087 it suggests there is an initialization procedure we could try.

I live in Canada and my truck (Canadian model) will always show whatever mode I left it in. When I drive in Canada I have it set for KPH and when I drive in the US I set it for MPH. The screen retains its setting until I switch it.

I wonder if the 2015 models were programmed differently?

Are the US Speedo brand any good? Im planning on changing them out this spring.. the fact that the tach and speedometer are dimmer than the guages above the digital display bugs the hell out of me.. You can even see dimmer spots within the numbers at night and Im tginking I got the used car special guages...

Any pics of larger cluster in your truck? Curious on price too.
