Default Used Canada Truck (in us now)

My father picked up a used 2015 XLT that was originally made for Canada. We have two questions:

1) The instrument cluster has MPH as the large numbers on the speedometer, but the digital readout defaults to KPH after every restart. Is there a Forscan setting to change the default?

2) The backup camera does not show the active turning guide lines. Is this indicating something is wrong/disconnected, or is it not a feature on all trucks with the camera? It also doesn't zoom like my XLT does.

For the digital speedo you should be able to change between Kph and Mph by pressing the "OK" button on the steering wheel.

As for the reverse guide lines, is there something plugged into the trailer plug? (light bar, etc..)

At least for my truck, there is an option on the radio, (under Vehicle, maybe?) to turn on the active steering guide lines on the reverse camera. Oddly, mine weren't active on a US truck when I bought it used.

We can change the readout between MPH and KPH, it just defaults to KPH at every restart.

Nothing plugged in, no trailer selected.

My '15 XLT has the active guidelines and the zoom, guessing yours should do the same.

The only way to fix that issue would be to have a U.S. cluster's image written to it and then it would default to MPH. Also, on a lot of these Canadian imports, the importer will slap a very cheap rpm & speedometer gauge face on them and I've seen several that peel apart & be very dim on the lighting in a very short time. Here's one I recently changed out on a guy who had the Canadian cluster and sent it to me for the U.S, image to be written to it:

Thanks for the reply. I might contact you about upgrading my truck to the larger display, then I could move my gauge to his truck.
