Used 2016 Platinum. Realistic purchase prices?
Hey folks,
I am on the hunt for a new to me 2016 F150 Platinum in Magnetic Grey, 4x4 , ecoboost. I am not a fan of buying new. Personally I would rather buy used and spend the savings on mods.
That being said I am curious:
What are you actually paying for used 2016 Platinum's OUT THE DOOR?
Is $40k OTD a realistic price for me to stick to when negotiating?
Thanks for the feedback.

it really depends on location. Some people on here claim that 15-16 502a lariats and platinums are 33-35k, but I haven't seen anything remotely close yo resembling that.

If you go with 50k+ mileage, you may get closer to your $40k sale price + ttl and difference.
I don't know where you are (state) and if you are trading, so its hard to say with OTD bc of taxes and trade-in's and payoffs, etc.

Easiest way to find out what they are selling for in your area is to do a search on Cars.com, and/or autotrader. Search for a specific miles, and for all 4 high trims. You might be surprised to find that they are all within a few hundred of each other trim wise, some Lariats I have seen selling for more than the higher trims, mainly due to miles. Search within 150 miles to get a decent selection. Heck up by me you can get Limiteds for less than Lariats, mainly because a Limited is VERY limited use wise by me. They make for lousy farm trucks
